One of the best-known voices on British radio belonged to Molly Weir, a diminutive Scotswoman who in more recent times, had become well-known on TV commercials. Despite a 1944 film debut, she rarely ventured into films, but has become a home expert on cookery, gardening and knitting. Her distinctive Glaswegian tones became nationally famous as Tattie in ITMA and Aggie in Life with the Lynns, two long-running British radio shows.
