Martin Boddey Overview:

Character actor, Martin Boddey, was born Albert Martin Boddey on Apr 16, 1907 in Stirling, Scotland. Boddey died at the age of 68 on Oct 24, 1975 in London, England .

MINI BIO:

Burly British actor, often mustachioed, with dark hair sleekly brushed across his head and dark, almost choleric complexion. He didn't get into films at all until past 40, then played mostly solid types, like police sergeants and inspectors. Occasionally he let the solidity slip into wronged husbands, or even out-and-out villains - these roles having an intensity missing from his other work. Died from a heart attack.
