They made 10 movies together: A Dream Play (1963) (TV), The Magician (1958), After the Rehearsal (1984) (TV), _Nattvardsgästerna (1963)_, Brink of Life (1958), The Rite (1969) (TV), Wild Strawberries (1957), The Silence (1963), Hour of the Wolf (1968) and Cries and Whispers (1972).

Trained as a ballet dancer in Stockholm and then as an actress at the Royal Dramatic Theatre.
