Legendary producer, Hal B. Wallis, was born Harold Brent Wallis on Sep 14, 1899 in Chicago, IL. Wallis died at the age of 87 on Oct 5, 1986 in Rancho Mirage, CA and was laid to rest in Forest Lawn (Glendale) Cemetery in Glendale, CA.

The Hal B. Wallis Building contains the Heart Research Facility at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. It's named after the famous producer whose last home was in this city.
