Owner of California's popular "Ah Fong's Restaurants."

Operated a grocery store in Sacramento, while at the same time playing small film roles from 1937, usually as meek Orientals (including Charlie Chan's Number Three son, Tommy, at Monogram), and, occasionally Japanese wartime villains.

Benson Fong was the father of popular Christian musician Preston 'Oden' Fong of the Maranatha Music group, "Mustard Seed Faith".
