Schulberg produced over 105 films from 1921 through 1943 including serving as Associate Producer for the silent classics: It (1927) starring Clara Bow; Wings (1927) which won the Best Picture Academy Award in 1927/28; and The Last Command (1928) for which Emil Jannings won the Best Actor Academy Award in 1927/28.
