Kenneth Mars

Along with his television and screen work, he has provided numerous voices for animated cartoon characters.

Familiar face of the past 40 years, famous for his portrayal of a wide range of foreign characters. Best known for his roles as the laughable Nazi playwright Franz Liebkind in The Producers (1968) and the Police Inspector in Young Frankenstein (1974). Had regular role as Harry the Fireman in the short-lived Richard Benjamin/Paula Prentiss sitcom "He & She" (1967).

Father of Susannah Mars-Johnson and Rebecca Mars-Tipton. He has 6 grandchildren.

Off-the-wall, over-the-top actor/farceur whose broad schtick was smartly utilized by 1970s directors Mel Brooks (The Producers (1968) and Young Frankenstein (1974)) and Peter Bogdanovich (What's Up, Doc? (1972)) in their best comedies to date.

Recorded a comedy LP where he portrayed Henry Kissinger.
