Ann B. Davis

Appeared in a play called "The Nearlyweds," which was written expressly for her by Lloyd J. Schwartz, producer of "The Brady Bunch" (1969).

Best remembered as Alice in the hit TV series "The Brady Bunch" (1969).

First motion picture part was in Strategic Air Command (1955) with James Stewart, as a waitress who sets a cake in front of Stewart. The scene was later cut out of the film.

Graduated from the University of Michigan in 1948, with a B.A. in Theatre.

Has a twin sister named Harriet.



Is portrayed by Suanne Spoke in Growing Up Brady (2000) (TV).

Joined an Episcopalian religious community in Denver, in 1974.

Originally wanted to be a doctor and studied pre-med at the University of Michigan.

She won two Emmys in the 1950s for "The Bob Cummings Show" (1955).

The daughter of an electrical engineer father and an amateur actress mother.

Toured Vietnam, Thailand and Korea with the USO.
