The film's premiere at the Odeon Theatre, Leicester Square, London was in aid of the Royal London Society for the Blind. Those that attended included Mr. and Mrs. Nigel Patrick (the actress Beatrice Campbell), Mr. Winthrop Aldrich, American Ambassador and from Columbria Pictures Mr. Max Thorpe (Managing Director) and Mr. E. Bryson (Sales Manager). Representing Warwick Film Productions was Mr. Irving Allen (Executive Producer).

The unloading of boxes of gold, filmed at Blackbush airfield, was unloaded into a 3 ton lorry provided by the Royal Military Police (RMP). The RMP London District Provost Company provided extras for the day during the filming of these scenes.

The wonderful bubble car in the movie is a Messerschmitt KR175. They were built from 1953-1955. It's the same type of car used in Brazil, Kenny Starfighter, and The Addams Family (as driven by Cousin It).
