Event Details

With a career that spanned forty years with nearly fifty films to her credit as well as numerous television appearances, Natalie Wood was one of the few actresses of her time who successfully made the transition from child star to full-fledged leading lady. She was nominated for three Academy Awards throughout her career and an astounding eight Golden Globe Awards, winning three. She had her hand and footprints immortalized in cement in front of Grauman's Chinese Theatre at twenty-three, and earned a spot on Entertainment Weekly's list of the 100 Greatest Stars of All Time, with three of her films earning spots on AFI's list of the 100 Greatest Films of All Time. Sadly, her tragic and mysterious passing off the coast of Catalina Island at the young age of forty-three has developed almost as much notoriety as her life and career. Join me as we pay tribute to legend Natalie Wood on what would have been her 80th birthday on July 20th, 2018.
