The Gold Rush. We have a theater, The Gillioz, that has been restored. I took my son to see a screening of The Gold Rush, it was purportedly shown in the theater the year it opened. It’s the only silent film I’ve seen in a theater and I got to share the experience with my son, who is quite a film buff. It was great to hear teenagers laughing so hard, Chaplin was great as usual, one of his best, in my opinion.

Wing would have to be my favorite. Superbly made and you feel the real emotions of the two friends. Plus it has Clara Bow!
