TCM pays Tribute to "Star of the Month" Janet Leigh on Wednesday nights in October!

Few stars can achieve icon status with one film, let alone one scene, but if ever an actress earned that distinction, it was the beautiful Janet Leigh when she took on the role of the ill-fated bank embezzler Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller Psycho (1960). We all know what happens to Leigh's character when she takes her final shower at the notorious Bates motel. It was one of many fine performances this lovely leading lady gave us.

In October, TCM pays tributes to Janet Leigh on Wednesdays throughout October, airing a total of 34 films including Angels in the Outfield, Bye Bye Birdie, Scaramouche, The Perfect Furlough and Psycho.
