Director Ridley Scott announced this week that he was making the nearly unprecedented choice to replace Kevin Spacey in a film set for a release next month. All the Money in the World, a thriller co-starring Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg, wrapped months ago and has been set for a December bow with Spacey in a central role as J. Paul Getty. However, Deadline reports that Scott has recast the Getty role with Sound of Musicand Beginners star Christopher Plummer. Shockingly, Scott reports that they'll still make the December 22 release date. Suffice it to say, Christopher Plummer will not be able to make it to your holiday party. Captain von Trapp is von tapped out.
