Blood on the Moon (1948) was a Action - Drama Film directed by Robert Wise and produced by Theron Warth and Sid Rogell.
SYNOPSIS
In this adaptation of Luke Short's novel Gunman's Choice, a drifter finds himself caught in the middle of a battle between a rancher and a ruthless group of cattle rustlers. Jim Garry meets up with his old friend Tate Riling, who gives him a job. But when Jim realizes what Tate has in mind, he has second thoughts. Riling has been exacerbating a feud between rancher John Lufton and a group of settlers to make sure that Lufton and his family don't get grazing land for their cattle. If his scheme proves successful, Riling stands to get the Luftons' livestock at a fire-sale price. After some coaxing from John and his daughter Amy, Jim agrees to help them fight off Tate and his brutal henchmen in a thrilling climax.
