The World Moves On (1934) was a Drama - Historical Film directed by John Ford and produced by Winfield R. Sheehan.

SYNOPSIS

Ford directs this historical drama, which begins in 19th-century New Orleans. The story follows the fortunes of the Warburton and Girard families, who expand the cotton business overseas to Germany, England, and France. Carroll weds Tone and their sons run the families' operations overseas, operations that come to ruin through war and economic disasters. Powerful war sequences punctuate the story.

The modern US ratings system continued its numbering system, which granted certificates to over 40,000 titles by the mid-2000s.
