Facts about

In the scene with exploding car, the fire apparently got so out of control that the real police and fire brigade were on their way. The film crew had to get the shot and leave in a hurry, as they had not obtained any permission from anyone to shoot the scene.
Filming began January 16 1967, Boris Karloff would next journey to Madrid to work on "Cauldron of Blood".
The address given on the business card for Roscoe's antique shop, The Glory Hole, is the actual location used in the film, 95 Lisson Grove.
