The Conquerors Overview:

The Conquerors (1932) was a Drama - Western Film directed by William A. Wellman and produced by David O. Selznick.

SYNOPSIS

Family saga about Easterners who strike out for Fort Allen, Nebraska, in 1870. They start a family, fight outlaws, and protect their town. Later, they start the town's first bank, which stays in business until the financial panic of 1892. Tragedy strikes when a train hits the buggy their son is riding in. Years later, a grandson brings honor to the family through his heroic deeds in WWI.
