"Academy Award Theater" broadcast a 30 minute radio adaptation of the movie on September 18, 1946 with Irene Dunne reprising her film role.

Ronald Colman owned the rights to Alice Duer Miller's poem, but sold them to Clarence Brown, who in turn sold them and his services as director to M-G-M.

Irene Dunne filmed this movie while filming was held up for A Guy Named Joe due to Van Johnson's automobile accident. She even helped Johnson land a small role in this film.
