The final entry in Fox's "Jones Family" series. Florence Roberts, who played Granny, passed away, and star Jed Prouty asked Fox chief Darryl F. Zanuck for a raise. Rather than replace Roberts with another actress and give Prouty more money, the notoriously tight-fisted Zanuck just canceled the series.
