Co-starred with Frank Sinatra on the Chesterfield radio series, "Music That Satisfies".

Father, Leon Lewis, was a classical pianist, conductor and composer. Mother, Jessica Lewis, sang with the Chicago Opera Company. Her sister, Barbara, was also a pianist and her brother, Marlo, a successful TV producer.

Starred on Ed Sullivan's very first "Toast of the Town" broadcast along with Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis and Rodgers and Hammerstein. Her brother Marlo Lewis created the show and produced it for several years.

Was one of the first to appear on The Ed Sullivan Show.



Was the only woman to dance on screen with Gower Champion besides wife Marge, in the musical "Everything I Have is Yours".

Was the voice of the popular commercial cartoon character Chiquita Banana for 14 years.
