Dorothy Peterson

Character actress of Swedish ancestry, who after her movie debut in the 1930 melodrama 'Mothers Cry', was henceforth typecast to play long-suffering mothers and wives. Studied at Columbia University, New York, and appeared on Broadway from 1924 to 1930. Notable roles in 'Dracula' (as Lucy Seward, 1927-8) and 'Subway Express' (1929, with Helen Mack).
