Tim McIntire

A large, solidly built actor, he began his acting career on TV as a teenager in his father's "Wagon Train" (1957) western series.

Brother of Holly McIntire.

Did voice-over work for Honda in the 80s.

He starred in one of two pilot episodes for "All in the Family" (1968), along with Kelly Jean Peters, to portray Richard and Gloria in 1968. Another pilot episode was shot a year later with different actors in the parts, but neither set of actors were hired when the series premiered in 1971.

Son of John McIntire and Jeanette Nolan.



Suffered from serious drug and alcohol addiction, which lent to his death from heart disease at the age of 41 in 1986.

Was a songwriter and musical composer, at times for films he starred in.
