"The Loves of Shakespeare's Women," conceived and adapted by Ms. York, was inspired by John Gielgud's one-man show "The Ages of Man.".

Became an Associate Member of RADA.

Is also a writer of children's books. Her publications include 'In Search of Unicorns' (1973) and 'Lark's Castle' (1975).
