Nan Martin

Nan Martin

From her marriage to architect Harry Gesner, she is the mother of actor Zen Gesner, best known for his title role in "The Adventures of Sinbad" (1996). She and Harry named him after the Japanese Buddhist sect that preaches enlightenment through meditation.

He made guest appearances on both "Twilight Zone" (1959) and "The Twilight Zone" (1985).

Once wed to musician/composer/producer Robert Emmett Dolan. They had one child: Casey Martin Dolan.



She was awarded the 1995 Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role in a Play for "Three Tall Women" at Fox Theatricals in Chicago, Illinois.

Trained for the theater at UCLA.

Was nominated for Broadway's 1959 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actress (Dramatic) for "J.B."
