Daughter, Juliet, born 1944

Her first Broadway play was Ivor Novello's "Symphony in Two Flats" in 1930.

Portrayed Victoria Hall on NBC Radio's "The Halls of Ivy" (1950-1952) with her husband Ronald Colman.

She started out as a pianist but pursued acting because she wanted "excitement".

Trained at RADA; first stage appearance in 1924.



With Ronald Colman was part owner of the San Ysidro resort in Santa Barbara, California.
