Adriana Caselotti received a salary of $970 for being the voice of Snow White in Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Claimed to be the first woman to wear a bikini in public.

Greeted many of her visitors' children by singing Snow White songs in her Snow White "voice", even in her old age.

Her last home, in Beverly Hills, was filled with every kind of Snow White memorabilia imaginable (mostly gifts sent from fans), from giant figurines, to a wishing well in her front yard.

Her mother the first vocal coach of Maria Callas.



Her telephone answering machine carried her recording of 'I'm Wishing'.

In 1967,thirty years after doing the voice of "Snow White," Adriana Caselotti Mitchell returned to Walt Disney Studios for another recording session. She taped some "Snow White" dialogue for the Telephone Association of Canada Exhibit for Montreal's Expo '67. The exhibit allowed children to dial-a-conversation with their favorite Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and Pinocchio. 1967 also marked the fifth re-release of the classic film throughout the United States and Canada.

Many years later, she tried to sue Disney for a bigger piece of the film's profits. She lost.
