The Big Lebowski is hilarious!! Jeff Bridges is perfect in the role. “The Dude” evolves from slacker to winner amid the craziness. I love this film!

  2. Javier Valverde says:

I haven’t seen The Big Lebowski but I want to see it on the Big Screen because it’s a classic comedy of the 90s that I’ve heard people always talk about and I’ve always wanted to see it because I’m curious to see how the film is and because I didn’t get a chance to see it in the 90s.

  3. Daniel G. says:

The Coen Brothers are… amazing! So many great films can be attributed to their producing, writing, directing, & editing. They are, in my opinion, among the best filmakers of the last 40 years. The Big Lebowski is one of their greatest! I look forward to seeing this on the big screen, once again.

  4. Richard Rommeney says:

A local pub that I frequent always has “The Big Lebowski” playing on a small TV (no sound). It is on a continual loop. As soon as it ends, it starts again. That is the only way I’ve seen the movie – in bits and pieces on a small screen with no sound. I’d love to be able to see it the way it was made to be seen!

  6. The Dude will abide forever and forever, and I must see him on the BIG screen! I still believe that in America, if the Dude can be a winner, so can we all.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi, I’ve emailed you twice, DM’d you once (per your twitter request), and also @mentioned you on twitter. If you cannot get back to me tonight (Sunday 7/29) we will have to forfeit your tickets. Please email me with your information tonight. Thanks.

  7. Robert says:

Busy raising our family in the 90s. “Lebowski” quickly became a family fave put into regular rotation on “Blockbuster” nights. Missed it on the big screen (Babysitters? Wha’happened?) back in the day. Would love to make it right because I do mind, the dude minds. This will not stand, ya know, this aggression will not stand, man.

  8. A Long says:

Dude, believe it or not as much as I love Jeff Bridges, I’ve never watched this movie. I kinda was waiting for the right mood or time to view it. This would be the perfect time to abide with “The Dude”!

  9. Nancy Brewer says:

I’m a huge classic movie fan, and one of my all-time favorites is “The Big Sleep,” with Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. My boyfriend has always loved “The Big Lebowski,” which I had never seen until he talked me into watching it with him one night. I thought certain plot lines seemed vaguely familiar, but couldn’t quite place them. Later, I read that “Lebowski” was based on the Bogie movie and couldn’t believe it. My boyfriend then watched “The Big Sleep” with me (as I have TCM on 24 hours a day!), complaining it didn’t make any sense. I told him “Lebowski” made even less sense! But the fact that Lebowski is based on a such a great classic, is cleverly done, and is really an homage to “The Big Sleep,” has made it a classic for many movie fans 20 years later. My boyfriend would love to see it on the big screen, so if I won the tickets, it would be a great surprise for him!

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Nancy, I can’t seem to find your tweet. Could you please confirm that you tweeted, or just let me know if you don’t have a twitter account or if your twitter account is private. Thanks so much!

  10. The Big Lebowski is a classic because it really ties the room together.

  11. Karen says:

What makes The Big Lebowski a classic? Three words: The. Coen. Brothers.

  12. Noir Dame says:

For love Of “The Big Lebowski,” I visited the Star Lanes where it was once filmed, before their closure, and more recently the Lebowski Grill in Austin, Texas. Although I also bought him a gold ring, in the weeks before I got married, I remember going out of my way to buy something at Ralph’s just so I could get my Dude his own Ralph’s card, just like the movie. Yes, it honors one of the best film noirs of all time, but it also serves up everything that makes a Coen Brothers picture so entertaining… terrific actors with a strong script doing gonzo stuff that still manages to be kinda believable. You can also appreciate the Lebowski if you have never seen a film noir.

  13. Robert says:

    Hi CMH,
Thank you for notifying me of such wonderful luck. When you have a moment, will you explain the process of claiming the prize? Really looking forward to seeing The Big Lebowski in the theatre. Again, thank you so much!

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Robert, I sent you an email last night that requests your theater/showtime information. If you didn’t receive it, please let me know. Thanks!
