  1. I would like to win PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, because Chaney’s makeup is one of the greatest in movies history.

  2. Emily Graziano says:

I would most like to win Witness for the Prosecution for a good friend of mine! My friend, Mike, is one of the nicest people I know and he’s introduced me to a lot of good Wilder titles, including “Witness”. It would be really awesome to win the film and give the copy to him!!

  3. Chris Teel says:

I want to say Moby Dick. Gregory Peck is amazing as Ahab, no other version comes close to this one, the effects hold up well, but Peck’s voice is the thing.
That being said, I’ve seen it several times and I haven’t seen Witness for the Prosecution, and Laughton and Dietrich together must be magic, so I’d go with it. Choosing is hard.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

I haven’t seen Moby Dick yet! So that one would be on my list. I thoroughly enjoy Witness for the Prosecution every time I see it. Thanks so much for entering Chris and Good Luck 🙂

  4. Shawn D Moore says:

Of the 8, I would choose Phantom of the Opera as I am a big Chaney fan and think this is a landmark film for him and all of silent cinema. I am so glad that Kino has made this film available on Blu-Ray.

  5. Shirley Holland says:

I would like to win British Noir (Five Film Collection: They Met in the Dark, The October Man, Snowbound, The Golden Salamander becaise I really enjoy that gentre and it’s five films!

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Shirley, I don’t see your tweet yet. Please remember to tweet the message or comment back here that you don’t have a twitter account. Thanks!

      • Annmarie Gatti says:

Oops… duh, you don’t need to tweet because this is the blog version of the contest! Sorry about that…
