WHEN STARS ARE JUST LIKE US~This is what is so fun about books such as “Hollywood at Play: The Lives of the Stars Between Takes.” It’s a snapshot into their lives that make them real to us. I have my favorite stars such as Bette Davis but I enjoy seeing all of Hollywood in these candid moments.

  13. Joe Gorbsky says:

William Powell and Myrna Loy. I’ve watched them together for many years in The Thin Man series and would enjoy seeing them being themselves.

  15. Michael Reed says:

I would like to see candid photos of some of my favorite Hollywood “heavies”. That is, folks who often played serious, menacing, roles. In fact, they played these roles so well, that it is difficult to imagine them having a lighter side! Lawrence Tierney, Edward Arnold, Jack Palance, etc.

  16. Joan O'Malley says:

Basically all of them I would like to see. They all seem bigger than life you tend to forget they were regular people too with families and problems just like everyone else.

  17. Bharat says:

It is interesting to go through such rare pics as they provide a glimpse into a time gone by of the people who were revolutionizing entertainment and setting standards for future generations to improve upon.

  18. Vickie L Gleason says:

There are so many but I would say Bette Davis, Elizabeth Taylor, Maureen O’Hara, John Wayne, Brian Keith, James Garner, Doris Day and Spencer Tracy.

  23. Chris Teel says:

I can’t believe I almost missed this one, I must be slipping. I would love to see Bette Davis, Constance Bennett, Myrna Loy, and Joan Crawford. They were great on-screen and it’s always interesting to see them relaxed and out of character.
