As a film historian, their story intrigues me. This couple has seen so much of Hollywood history, and this is such a fascinating tale. Not just of Hollywood, but also a wonderful love story.

  5. Bharat says:

It is always interesting to learn about the faces behind the screen who play important roles in creating film but are never really known despite their huge inputs. So I would like to know more these artists and their impact.

  6. David Hollingsworth says:

As a a very dedicated film lover, this documentary is just right for me. I saw it on TCM, and I definitely kindled to it. It’s not just about Hollywood, it’s about the love story that fueled it.

  7. Mark PAGAN says:

    A storyboard artist & a film researcher? That’s it: I’m in! (-terested!)

I woudl LOVE to win this after seeing it on TCM and falling in love with it. I had no idea these two existed and I’m honestly glad I learned. Their contributions behind the camera changed the classic films we love today!

  9. Ana Roland says:

I want to win the Harold and Lillian: A Hollywood Love Story DVD Giveaway! I saw this documentary for the first time this past September on TCM Salutes Past & Present Residents & Supporters of the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital. Bummed I didn’t catch it when it screened at the TCM Classic Film Festival with the admirable mensch Lillian Michelson in attendance to introduce the film. I was so fortunate to get to see this heartwarming documentary on the big screen as part of the Austin Jewish Film Festival just this past Monday. I can’t get enough. I just fell in love with their LOVE story. The humor they had to get through tough times. The movie Rain Man (1988) was based on the Michelsons and their autistic son. The added bonus, is to learn of their unsung contributions to so many award-winning films. This is such an inspiring documentary. MUST-SEE! MUST-OWN!!

  10. Stuart Cook says:

This looks like a very insightful story that I would love to see. These folks worked on some heavyweight movies, and being able to hear their stories will be great.

I saw this film on TCM – amazingly, I wasn’t aware of either this documentary nor either Harold or Lillian. I found their story and careers fascinating, and am pretty amazed they aren’t far better known. I’d love to have the DVD so I can delve further into this piece of history.

  13. Julia R says:

Have not seen it but I am interested.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:
