136 Responses to FilmStruck: We’re giving away EIGHT Annual Subscriptions in June and July!

  1. Cher Bibler says:

Oh my gosh, Filmstruck sounds fantastic! I could watch SO many movies!

  2. AJ Long says:

I would like to win the subscription to FilmStruck so I could have access to a plethora of classic films I love to watch. Also, I’m sure there are many films I haven’t watched because I’m unaware they exist or have never watched. Whether the film is from a director or actor or actress I enjoy, being able to explore the bonanza of film would be quite fulfilling. Having watched Casablanca last year on the Big Screen, courtesy of Fathom Events and CMH was a great treasure and would be honored to win an annual subscription to FilmStruck!

  3. Ashley says:

Mainly because I want to see weather it’s worth investing in long term. I know the Warner Archive content alone is of interest, and I tried to win it last year. I enjoy some of the Criterion label films, but I’d rather try some of them out before I buy them. I have heard from other Twitter members what Filmstruck is like, in general terms.

  4. James H says:

I would like to win a subscription to film struck because I am a fan of movies past and present. They provide hours of endless entertainment and can take you anywhere you want to go no matter how you are feeling. Please consider me for this contest. Thank you

  5. James H says:

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

  6. Scottie Hexter says:

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message. I also do not have TV service because I can’t afford it. But when I did have TV service, I loved watching classic and art films, discovering new treasures and renewing acquaintance with old favorites, as well. That is why I would like to win a subscription to FilmStruck — because I love movies more than regular TV shows, so I miss the convenience of being able to watch what I want whenever I want from my home.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

It’s really a wonderful service and I’m happy to be able to give away a good number of subscriptions.. Thank you so much for entering and Good Luck 🙂

  7. Julie Moon says:

I would love to have FilmStruck… what a treat it would be to stream all my favorite classic movies!!!

  8. I had Filmstruck last year, and I am beginning to miss it. It also appears that more classic films have been added to the service since I subscribed.

  9. I love the concept of Filmstruck. Until I came down with a lung illness and cancer that forced me into retirement, I general managed some of the best video stores in the Philly area (Movie World and TLA Video) for 27 years. I prided my stores for the full selection of classic and foreign films that we stocked, well beyond the hits. This would be a way to revisit that time.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

I’m sorry to hear about your illness and hope that you are doing well now. It’s wonderful that you managed a video store (a dream job for many of us film fans :)… Thank you so much for taking the time to enter and Good Luck 🙂

  10. steve carmody says:

Getting a subscription to Filmstruck would be like getting the keys to the kingdom

  11. Richard Leighton says:

As a cordcutter for many years, the ONLY channel I have missed is TCM. For some time I subscribed to Warner Archive, but now that they are no more, some of their top titles have shifted over to FilmStruck. Combined with the Criterion Collection, which in itself is absolutely top-notch, FilmStruck is now the way to go (though it would be nice if they’d get all the interesting second-tier titles Warner Archive concentrated on – that was it’s main attraction to me).

  12. Brittaney B says:

What an amazing giveaway. Thanks to your site and FilmStruck for offering it. I would love to win a subscription. As a long time classics film fan I have started branching out to specialty films which rarely or never air on TCM. I’m also interested in some of the documentary style programming.

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

I’m so excited about this giveaway myself! I really think FilmStruck is a wonderful streaming service for us classic movie fans…and I’m so happy to be able to give away these subscriptions! Thanks so much for entering Brittaney and Good Luck 🙂

  13. Lauren Woolley says:

I would like to win a subscription from FilmStruck because I would love to watch classic movies more often.

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

  14. Billy Slobin says:

It would be so great to win a subscription to FILMSTRUCK!
I can not see enough classic films.

  15. Vickie L Gleason says:

The more access to great classic films the better! I would love to try this service!

  16. Amanda Art Magdalenski says:

My husband is an indie cinematographer (on a very small scale) and I wish we could afford a FilmStuck subscription— he would love it! If I won, it would be for him!

  17. Laura A. says:

I’ve been thinking of doing the free trial to watch some Romy Schneider films and some foreign Ingrid Bergman films! Would love to win and really explore the site!

  18. Roger L. Jackson says:

My hope is to win a subscription to FILMSTRUCK because film, cinema, the enjoyment of film, the study of film, from short form to feature length or series, is one of the most important long-standing interests in my life. It is my privilege to work as an actor and director, and my life has been devoted to the study of actors, directors, writers, directors of photography, designers, animators, musicians, crew members, and all the members and methods involved in the making of the only truly modern art form: Cinema. To wander in the garden of great film collections would be a dream come true. Thank you.

  19. Adam Weiner says:

For the past year I’ve been binging on TCM and keeping my dvr filled to capacity with a pipeline of TCM movies to see. I’d love a subscription to FilmStruck to have Eben more choices and flexibility in my continuing classic movie journey.

  20. A subscription to Filmstruck would be awesome. I watch so many classic films and I always manage to find some I haven’t seen before. I think I watch more classic films than I do modern films.

  21. Nancy says:

Wow! I would love to win a subscription to FilmStruck because it has such a great selection of classic, art house, and international films.

  22. Lindsay E says:

We cut cable, due to the cost and I and miss TCM terribly.
The main reason why I would like FilmStruck is that it is the one portal to all of my favorites; from Film Noir to Italian Neorealism, gritty Chanbara to German Expressionism. (Plus some bonus Kaiju!!)
Everything I love is right there, in one place.

  23. Scott Channell says:

I like to win a subscription to FilmStruck because I would really like to try it out. After “cutting the chord”, I’ve been using a lot of different services (Netflix, Fandor, Hulu, etc) but when FilmStruck was announced I felt that it might be the best place to really get a good selection.

  24. Becky H. says:

I would love a subscription to FilmStruck to view all the films that mean so much to me. Old films have always drawn me in ever since I was a little kid. I would sit there and be transported to another time. One day I realized that these weren’t the current movies everyone was watching. It was an instant connection and almost a bond between the films and I. Having a subscription would mean everything to me.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Becky, I can’t seem to find your tweet. Could you please confirm that you tweeted, or just let me know if you don’t have a twitter account. Thanks so much!

  25. David Shows says:

I’d love a FilmStruck subscription because I love good movies.

  26. Zi Xu says:

As a movie poster artist who primarily makes art for classic films, I would love to win a subscription to FilmStruck so that I can easily access more films to learn and make posters for.

Classic cinema may be old, but it’s timeless. I want to do my part in preserving their legacy through my work.

You can see all of my posters for these films on: https://www.zixu.co/. Thank you very much!

  27. Barb Clark says:

I would love to delve into classic films more and hopefully have access to some more obscure films I may never have heard of or had a chance to see.

  28. Javier Valverde says:

I would like to win a subscription to FilmStruck because it would be amazing to see classic films like Top Hat, On the Waterfront, All About Eve. Also it would be amazing to see rare RKO, Warner Brothers or MGM films like Alice Adams, The Silver Cord, Of Human Bondage, 42nd Street, The Jazz Singer, White Banners, The Divorcee, Sweethearts with Jeannette MacDonald and Nelson Eddy, and Best Foot Forward with June Allyson and Lucille Ball.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Javier, for some reason I can’t find you tweet. Could you please just confirm that you tweeted. Thanks!

  29. Emmalee Wisecarver says:

I would love a FilmStruck subscription, there are so many classic movies on there that I really want to see.

  30. Monica Codina says:

I would like to win a FilmStruck subscription because I’m a big classic film fan! I’m always looking for ways to expand my knowledge on classic movies!

  31. Adam VanHandel says:

Filmstruck is the perfect way to discover Hollywood classics and obscure gems that many people have missed over the years. Given how bland much of the content on Netflix/Hulu is, Filmstruck seems like a fantastic service.

  32. Marlee says:

I want a subscription because of the new partnership with TCM expanding their selection!

  33. Catherine says:

    #MovieMagic
It’s what’s greater than the sum of a story’s parts & machinery, it’s potent stuff, and I’ve been a hardened junkie since I was four years old (gateway: Mary Poppins).

Cracking open that magic & watching all the gears fit together, seeing how they came to be placed where they are, only makes that story sing more clearly & do…whatever its crafters designed it to do, more effectively. Watching old movies & learning about those pioneering crew & actors has become how I do that in recent years.

I’m a writer, I study this way, I stay moved & fascinated this way, and I often just keep my spirits up this way. I’d treasure a subscription to FilmStruck :’)

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  34. Annmarie Gatti says:

Entering on behalf of Candy P:

Filmstruck seems as though it was made for me! I would rather watch the classic movies than the newer ones. Drama, comedy, cult classics, foreign and musicals. They have it all!

  35. Daniel G. says:

I was pretty excited when Filmstruck made its debut. It was not, however, available on any of the streaming platforms I own. It sadly faded from my memory until NOW! This is the premier streaming service for film lovers and I would love to win a subscription. Thank you.

*I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

  36. Jane Ke t says:

I would like to win because…

In the past years I have discovered old black and white movies. What I see in classic movies that I enjoy so much is…character development. There are depths and shallows that reflect all of us. In the dialogue of movies like “Mrs. Miniver” with Greer Garson, there are depths of restraint which I wish we could emulate today. I’d never want to go back to anyone’s good ‘ol days, but I DO wish we could revive old Hollywood!!!

  37. Alexander C Hale says:

    love the classic movies!

  38. Brett Krasnov says:

I would love to win the Film Struck subscription because I am a huge fan of Classic Movies of all kinds. If it was not for my love of my local sports teams as well, my TV would be stuck on TCM.

  39. Chris Teel says:

The Film Struck service would give me a great option to view films in my favorite genres in places in my house where I can’t currently have tcm or other options, plus I’m in the minority in my household so my choices aren’t popular.

  40. Bianca B. says:

I’d like to win a FilmStruck subscription because I’d have a movie marathon everyday!

  41. Steve D. says:

I’ve heard a lot about FilmStruck and would love to try it. Having classic & foreign films available on demand is a dream come true. So many are hard to find or are rarely shown on TV.

  42. Uche. says:

I’d like to win a subscription to Filmstruck because I think it’s honestly the best thing I’ve discovered this year.

  43. Sarah A. says:

I would love a subscription to introduce my kids to more films! They are currently big fans of Charlie Chaplin and Audrey Hepburn and keep adding more favorites to their list! Filmstruck would be fun for outdoor movie nights with the family!

  44. Susan M says:

I would love to win a subscription to Filmstruck because I adore Classic movies. There are so many Criterion movies I have not been able to find anywhere and would love to view them here. When you add Warner movies on top of it, it is such a rich location to find all the movies I love to view.

  45. Kim Bragg says:

Because there is NOTHING like classic movies! The Barrymores, Chaplain, Grant, Power, Bogart & Bacall, Hepburn & Tracy, Powell & Loy and so many more! Wonderful ACTING and the best REAL scenery. I have a hard time picking out an actor or actress that stands the test of time as the Golden Era of Hollywood stars do.

  46. Angela Edwards says:

I would love a subscription to FilmStruck because it would give me access to an enormous number of movies I would love to see (and see again). Classic films bring me joy like few other things, and unfortunately, the cost to see them can be prohibitive at times. FilmStruck is a wonderful service for people like me.

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

  47. Erin Sullivan says:

I love watching movies. No question about it. It would be a dream come true for me if I ever do win this. I also collect autograph pictures too.

  48. Sean Mulvihill says:

I want an annual FilmStruck subscription because it’s the only streaming service that has movies by John Waters and Charlie Chaplin.

  49. Brad Brandenburg says:

Sounds like a great way to watch classic movies when I want.

  50. Rachel W. says:

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

I would love to win a subscription because classic movies have become my escape in a world that is at the moment exceedingly tense and chaotic. It seems that every time you come online there’s something else devastating/horrendous/saddening and I would be very grateful to be able to open up my laptop and escape to my oasis of classic films for a few hours at a time.

  51. Walter von Tagen III says:

Filmstruck is the ultimate site for lovers of film. Why wouldn’t I want a free subscription?

  52. Brett Doze says:

I would love to win a subscription to FilmStruck because I just started a website that focuses on movies through the lens of the Academy Awards. I review and discuss classic films in the site, so FilmStruck would be helpful in both getting access to classic films, as well as recommending them.

  53. Annmarie Gatti says:

Entering on behalf of Trevor: I love old movies

  54. Jason Kurinko says:

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.

Oh my gosh! I would love to win this. I love the Criterion Collection but don’t like to buy because I’m trying to declutter my living space and live with a minimum of possessions. I do use the public library to borrow these titles when available, but often they are scratched or otherwise defective copies. Streaming seems to be the solution, and Filmstruck has the goods!

  55. David Hollingsworth says:

I would love this FilmStruck subscription because I can’t afford one on my own, and it would be nice to watch all the films and interviews that I would like to.

  56. Sara Stewart says:

I would love to win a subscription to Filmstruck because classic movies=life. I don’t sleep a lot and watching classic movies and television a great deal. I loved the Warner Archive and pretty much went through the entire movie base they had there. To have something where there is not a limited selection would be Heaven,

  57. Anthony Bejarano says:

I would LOVE to win a subscription to FilmStruck because throughout my life the only access I had to classic film was whatever came on TCM or HBO before we had to drop those channels because we couldn’t afford it, or what I found in video stores like Blockbuster before they closed. Lately we have gotten TCM back, and we do have Netflix and Amazon Prime, but with my DVR space taken up by other movies and things my household wants to record, and other streaming services having such small classic film libraries, FilmStruck would fill that void in my movie-loving heart.

  58. David Welden says:

Filmstruck would be such a wonderful addition to my life. How much joy I would have reliving those golden moments and introducing my daughter to those artists of yesterday!

  59. Travis says:

I would like to win a subscription to FilmStruck because I want to expand my knowledge of film. There are still a lot of films that I haven’t seen. I am eager to catch up with them.

  60. James Morgan Wells says:

I’d like to win a FilmStruck subscription so I could see a Tarkovsky film on my phone whenever the mood strikes.

  61. Myke Emal says:

I would love to win an annual subscription to Filmstruck because, on the CineMusts podcast, we’re always discussing classic movies. Since our show debates the must-see status of the films included in the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die, a Filmstruck subscription could grant us easier access to renowned films that are difficult to get a hold of outside of buying overpriced DVDs off of the internet. We LOVE classic film and want to utilize Filmstruck to dive even deeper into all the forgotten gems it has to offer.

    • Jason Kurinko says:

Ooh, I love podcasts about movies! Yours sounds like a cineMUST! Lol I’ll be checking it out. Good luck to you!

  62. Tom Parsons says:

I love classic movies and Filmstruck would be just perfect for me. I love being able to stream movies. All I need now is a way to stream more classic movies all the time!

  63. Richie Rainville says:

Whats not to love about this, anytime you can watch timeless classics is a plus. This would be a great and well used opportunity.

  64. I would love to win a year of FilmStruck because I know that there are invertible riches of film there that I can only access though the subscription! I don’t have cable, and most of their films can be found nowhere else online.

  65. Philip Johnson says:

Film is such an important medium and it would be an honor to be a further part of it

  66. Barry P. says:

I would love to win a subscription to Films truck. They have a wonderfully eclectic selection of films. It’s a great way to fill the gaps in my movie knowledge.

  67. Katie says:

I would love to win a subscription to Filmstruck not just to rewatch the films that I’ve loved for years, but to discover many more rarities and to be able to show these films to my significant other who has only scratched the surface of these wonderful gems.

  68. Myke Robertson says:

Such a wonderful contest! It would be fantastic to be a winner! I suppose I can think of several reasons FilmStruck is on my radar: Bette Davis, Celia Johnson, Merle Oberon, Shelley Winters and on and on. Terrific women in classic films that are rarely if ever shown on television these days. No way can I NOT enter! Thx CMH for such fun contests & great prizes!

  69. Yvonne kneeland says:

I would absolutely love love love a subscription to FilmStruck! I watch films every day. I’m in love with older films but watch everything. This would be a phenomenal gift!

  70. Joe Ayres says:

I would love to win a FilmStruck subscription because films are a very important part of my life and this service seems like a great way to further my education without breaking my college student bank account.

  71. JOYCE HEISER says:

I already have a FilmStruck month to month account, and I can tell you I LOVE IT. They do an excellent job of curating the films, with movies to fit every taste and era…(although I would love more silent movies), and I enjoy seeing who the spotlight performers, directors, etc are each week.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

I’ve had it for about 2 months now, and it’s a wonderful service. I feel like my own dvd collection has tripled, and it’s given me a chance to watch films that I wouldn’t normally explore, or that have been on my ‘to see’ list for years…

  72. Jane Graves says:

What a terrific giveaway! I’d love to win a subscription to FilmStruck — such a treat! I’ve recently re-discovered my love of classic film, thanks to the Mad About Musicals course sponsored by TCM and Ball State University. The course has really struck a chord with me — so much, in fact, that I’m actively looking to continue my studies by taking online courses in film studies, with an eye towards getting my Masters. The FilmStruck library would undoubtedly not only provide me with endless hours of entertainment, but would also most likely be a great resource for any courses I take.

  74. Liliana Radwanski says:

    1. I would love to win the FilmStruck subscription because, I love to watch hard to find films as well as familiar favorites. I love to stream as well as purchase classic films but streaming at times is easier than pulling my dvds and blurays.

Netflix offers some choices but not enough. Prime only offers some choices as well. Fans of Classic and hard to find, seldom seen again films are happy that FilmStruck was created.

  75. Bruce Baldwin says:

I would love a subscription to Filmstruck because I only get antenna-transmitted TV, and I am going through classic movies withdrawal!

  76. Samantha says:

Who wouldn’t love a Filmstruck subscription? With summer temperatures remaining in triple digits 🙁 , discovering new films via Filmstruck and air conditioning is the best way to spend the summer!

  77. Gloria Elizabeth says:

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message.
I don’t have cable so my access to classic movies is limited to Amazon and my public library plus whatever comes up at area revival and art cinemas. I’ve been reluctant to add a paid streaming service to my limited budget but Film Struck sounds tailor-made for my tastes and I can’t imagine a more delicious test of its fit for me than a year-long free subscription!

  78. I would really love to win an annual subscription to
FilmStruck because I could watch the best of Warner Archive and TCM classic movies and ones from the Criterion Collection.

  79. I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message. I would love to win a subscription to FilmStruck because I don’t have cable and there are so many classic movies I want to introduce my 10-year-old nephew to that I don’t own on DVD. He is loving watching Laurel & Hardy right now and I would love to take advantage of his acceptance of B&W film to show him so much more. There are also so many movies I personally want to see, and this service sounds fantastic. Thanks for the opportunity to enter.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

That’s a great reason to want to win — I think it’s so important we share these great films with family, and especially kids… I think many classic movie fans owe their love of classics to their parents/relatives… it’s a gift they hopefully will treasure forever… Thanks for entering and Good Luck 🙂

  81. Jodi says:

I want to win because there are a lot of films out there I’ve not seen and aren’t easily available or are out of print.

  82. I would like to win filmstruck because I have a ridiculous watch list and I can’t always wait for TCM to play them! It will let me discover something new and get my watch list going!!

  83. Louis Lopez says:

I would like to win because I love classic movies, whether they’re Hollywood, independent, or foreign releases. Filmstruck being the streaming home of the Criterion Collection is just the icing on the cake.

  84. Adam Sexton says:

I am a past subscriber of Filmstruck. I’ve changed jobs recently which made it recently hard to keep up with monthly payments. I would like to win an annual subscription to Filmstruck because I’m familiar with this excellent streaming service (the best for classic and world cinema) and there’s so many films I haven’t seen that it provides access to.

  85. Jim Stevens says:

I’ve been a movie buff since childhood and Filmstruck is emerging as the place to be. It mixes the best of TCM with Criterion, literally opening you to an entire world of film. Throw in the first opportunity to watch “Outrageous” in decades and I’m sold.

    • Annmarie Gatti says:

Hi Jim, I can’t seem to find your tweet. Could you please confirm that you tweeted, or let me know if you don’t have a twitter account or that it’s private. Thanks 🙂

  86. Elise Sitzman says:

I live and breathe classic movies. Filmstruck would be an amazing thing for me to have.

  87. Ana Roland says:

I would love to try a year of FILMSTRUCK. I am curious to see what it is all about. I am hoping it will help cut down on my CRITERION spending…I won’t have to spend as much buying DVDs (as she deludes her acquisitive nature.) I have ROKU. It will be interesting to have all these obscure hard-to-find film titles at my finger tips. I understand there are also exclusive films produced by FILMSTRUCK .

  88. Christi Gilliam says:

I would LOVE to win a subscription to FilmStruck!! My Dish provider isn’t carrying TCM and I’ve been heartbroken!! I hadn’t heard of FilmStruck, I’ve been watching what I can by using YouTube and movies my amazing Husband buys me..
This would be an amazing gift!! I’m so excited!!
Thank you for such a wonderful contest, I’ll be waiting with fingers crossed!!!

    ❤❤❤

  89. Ray Carbone says:

I got hooked on classic films when I was in high school during the 1960s. They would show up on the “late show” movies, where I discovered Casablanca and many, many more.. In many ways, successful classic films are bigger artistic accomplishments than films made since the no-holds-bar (on violence, sexual motifs) ethos of the 1970s. .. How much more powerful is a discrete fade to black than 10 minutes of watching movie stars lick one another’s bodies?… And the shadow is much more frightening than the blood-soaked body, as folks like Hitchcock knew so well… I’ve seen so many classic films, but always seen to find a few more along the way… I’d love to watch all I want! Thanks!

  90. Tim says:

I would love to win to see classic movies at home.

  91. Paul Newton says:

As a die-hard classic film buff for many years a FILM STRUCK subscrition would be just the thing an old man would love. As I have passed my 72nd year I appreciate the classics more and more. My favorites are film noir and anything John Wayne.

  92. Jon Taggart says:

FilmStruck sounds like the key for me.
There is nothing to watch on any channels I have. I love to watch movies. If I have already seen it I can fall asleep and not be disappointed I missed the end… again.

  93. Christine Hallet says:

I have been thinking about getting a subscription for a little bit of time now. Others have posted about great movies they’ve recently seen. I’m SO jealous!! I love Pre-code films and have wanted to get into silents. When I was out off work, recovering from having my Achilles’ tendon repaired, TCM and others classic movies were a bright spot in the vast waste land of daytime TV!

  94. Henry Kasprzyk says:

Having just wrapped up four years of film school, I now find myself in the death throes of student loan debt. Worse off, in my infatuated cinephile mind, I have lost total access to my school‘s film library. All the Criterion’s, all the Hitchcock… No more. Never really having the budget for individual DVDs or Blu-ray’s, FilmStruck always seemed like an absolute dream, but again being a broke college student, I couldn’t ever really afford it. Now that I’m out of school and continuing my cinematic education, it would be an absolute lifesaver if I had access to a year’s membership to the site.

  95. Annmarie Gatti says:

    Posting on behalf of Jan…
Hi Annmarie! I am entering this contest for a friend. I already have this terrific channel. My friend, Barbara is an elderly lady who is retired with very little social security money, due to the fact that she worked in non-profits helping battered women and homeless people all her life. She can’t afford Filmstruck or Netflix or any extras. I would be so thrilled for her to have this fabulous streaming service. We both love TCM and Criterion, I share my films with her. Filmstruck would be a wonderful companion to her if she could win this. Thank you.

  96. Alex Smith says:

My answer can be perfectly summed up in two beautiful words:

    Criterion Collection.

    Woo!

  97. I’d like to win because they have a number of foreign films I would like to see and some great British classics like Vacation from Marriage and Separate Tables.

I do not have a Twitter account, so I am posting here to enter but cannot tweet the message

  98. Jarrett R. Wainwright says:

I would like to win a subscription because FilmStruck seems like a great service and a free subscription to it would fit in my budget very well.

  99. Jason says:

I have taken a lot of flak in school for being behind on a lot of the classics and this would be a great way to catch up!

  100. Because I am Filstruck. I love everything about classic movies and the actors, directors, music directors, makeup artists and Foley artists. Would love to be able to stream the classic movies. I just retired and don’t have a lot of extra money .

  101. Rit S. says:

I would love to win a subscription to FilmStruck because I feel a strong connection with old Hollywood, and I’m always seeking out ways to strengthen that connection. Growing up in an Indian household and being raised on Indian films (which I love!) I’m a self-taught old Hollywood fanatic. I have a hunger to discover more!

  102. DYbar says:

I wish I had a subscription to FilmStruck!

  103. Cathy Manis says:

I want to win the subscription because I’m desperate to find the Clifton Webb “Mr. Belvedere” movies. Obviously, FilmStruck is the only resource that might have these. And because MOVIES.

  104. I want to win because. I. Love classic movies and now that I am retired I have lots of time to watch TCM and all the old movies. But I am on a fixed budget and can’t really afford the subscription until my pension kicks in. Please please pick me

  105. Suzy says:

I would like to win the Filmstruck one-year subscription because my love for classic movies is a part of who I am as a person. As a child in the 1960’s in a lonely household, those movies were my salvation. Bogart, Cooper, Grant, Hepburn, Davis, made things better.

  106. Dani says:

I would be overjoyed to win a subscription to FilmStruck because it perfectly melds the old and the new, the modern and the classic. As part of the ‘modern’ trend of entertainment distribution, I have cut the cord and only use streaming services. This product lets me continue to do this while offering the classic films not easily found in this new format. It is strangely difficult to find older films, especially without cable channels specifically dedicated to them. Even the library can be a bust for rentals! But, the ability to legitimately and legally watch films I love and will love once introduced to is an ability this product provides and one which I am more than desperate to accept. Let me love movies, let me appreciate movies, let me have FilmStruck. Please.

  107. Debi Large says:

It’s simple why I would enjoy this: classic movies bring me joy. I don’t know that any other explanation I could provide, in the end, would offer anything other than that. And in this day and age, there are previous few things in the world that can bring joy. So yes, I would like to win.

  108. I would love to win a FilmStruck subscription to broaden my movie viewing experiences.

  109. Nick says:

I would like to win a FilmStruck subscription because FilmStruck is such an invaluable resource for classic Hollywood films, and films within the Criterion Collection, as well as films you’re not likely to find on other streaming services. It is the greatest of resources for people who truly love movies.

  110. Wowowowowow. I want to win bc OMG FilmStruck! I love arthouse, classic, and foreign cinema and need so much more of it in my life! But, honestly, I think you should pick Sandra oreilly above because she can’t afford it.

  111. I want to win because. I. Love classic movies and now that I am retired I have lots of time to watch TCM and all the old movies. But I am on a fixed budget and can’t really afford the subscription until my pension kicks in. Please please pick me
I love all the old movies and have Taken TCMs mad about Musicals and would like to know more about the movie industry

  112. David Aibi says:

Wow, I want to win this as it would give me an opportunity to see so many movies I haven’t had the chance to watch yet!

  113. Thomas Benson says:

I want to win because I been a huge fan of classic and indie cinema all the way back to grade school. Filmstruck is such an amazing service and you can’t go wrong with the selection of film and interviews of your favorite directors.

  114. Amber Hartenbower says:

I’ve loved classic movies since I was a teenager. Luckily, I’ve passed that love to my children and husband. I would love to discover new movies, actors and genres with my family.

  115. Ed Matisik says:

It’s obviously a great service and it would be a big help in continuing my self-education in film. My great uncle was silent Star E.K
Lincoln & a cousin appeared in the Soviet film classic “A.. Rubelev”. My dad, my sister and I have appeared in several films. I would love to have this subscription!
