“A Touch of Stardust” March Book Giveaway

“A Touch of Stardust” Book Giveaway (via Facebook and this Blog)

This month, CMH will be giving away another copy of A Touch of Stardust, this time via Facebook and this Blog, courtesy of Doubleday Books…

As I mentioned before (for our Twitter contest), this is the first time we’ll be giving away a novel, so let me tell you a little bit about it…   The story takes you behind the scenes of the filming of Gone With the Wind – as seen through the eyes of Carole Lombard’s (fictional) assistant, Julie Crawford.  In the ever-widening scope of this story, Julie is given a front-row seat to not one, but two of the greatest love affairs of that era: the undeniable on-screen chemistry between Scarlett and Rhett, and, off-screen, the deepening love between Carole and Clark. Amidst all that drama is the coming World War and the decisions to be made about her own yearnings and career.

That said, here’s how you can enter…

I would loved to be a production assistant on Bringing Up Baby. With all the antics on screen I can only imagine how much fun production would have been. Hepburn and Grant are two of my all time favorites.

  2. Mark Culp says:

It would be The Longest Day….. so many stars in one movie. It is one of my favorites. Just to see them use their acting chops, would be an honor!

  3. Gail Pascaris says:

I’d be happy (and I suspect a bit crazed) if I could have worked on any Preston Sturges movie. I’m going to choose “The Palm Beach Story” because of Joel McCrea (see my answer on the twitter question) and that great train ride.
