Willes died at the age of 65 on Jan 3, 1989 in Van Nuys, CA .

Jean Willes was a tall, dark, strongly built American actress of handsome looks and forceful style. She had a couple of minor leading roles in the 1950s, but was usually seen either as a saloon girl or an officer in the forces, and never broke into the upper echelon of roles that her ability seemed to warrant.
