Won the 1966 "Golden Star" award for his performances in the TV series, "The Informer" (1966).

He was actually the primary focus and was top-billed over partner Patrick Macnee when the first season of "The Avengers" (1961) hit the airwaves. The more successful pairings of Macnee with Honor Blackman and Diana Rigg came later.
