In addition to appearing in Goldfinger (1964) film clips, Harold Sakata also appeared on air with the show's host (Mel Tormé) in his "Oddjob" character costume in a couple of skits.

Sakata apparently liked his role in the movie Goldfinger (1964) so much that he took "Oddjob" as an informal middle name.

Won a silver medal in light-heavyweight weight-lifting at the 1948 summer Olympics. He pursued a success career as a professional wrestler before moving in to acting.
