MINI BIO:

Short, dark-haired, often mustachioed British actor with the common touch, facially not unlike the present-day British comedian Ronnie Corbett. A concert-party and music-hall comedian, he soon won popularity in early British talkies and decided to go to Hollywood, which kept him equally busy, most notably as the man-servant in Cavalcade, Barkis in David Copperfield, and the chirpy Much the Miller in The Adventures of Robin Hood. Killed in a car crash.
