Legendary actress, Ann Todd, was born Dorothy Anne Todd on Jan 24, 1909 in Hartford, England. Todd died at the age of 84 on May 6, 1993 in London, England and was laid to rest in unknown Cemetery in unknown, unknown.

MINI BIO:

Glacial British blonde actress whose porcelain features and set expression helped keep her in leading roles for a long time. Her career was severely disrupted in the early thirties by a car accident, but in the mid-forties she became one of Britain's most popular stars, married (third) director David Lean (1949-1957) and appeared in several of his films. Later directed a few critically praised documentary films. In 1992, she popped up as a dotty bird fancier in the pilot to the British TV series Maigret, but died the following year after a stroke.

Her first husband, Victor Malcolm, was the grandson of Lily Langtry and they had a son David together.

Her second husband, Nigel Tangye and her third husband David Lean were first cousins. She and Nigel Tangye had a daughter Ann Francesca together.
