MINI BIO:

In films from an early age, this genial spry, light-haired American actor followed his father in swashbuckling mould in several films, although he was a more versatile, if less dominant performer. Gave up movies even earlier than his father and went into production, with just the occasional foray into films or theatre. Married (first of two) to Joan Crawford from 1929 to 1933. Wore a mustache from 1933.

He was honored with three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the categories of Motion Pictures, Television and Radio. Fairbanks Jr. was never nominated for an Academy Award.
