MINI BIO:
American actor whose characters were usually more dangerous versions of the types played by Harry Dean Stanton, spoke through gritted teeth and often looked as though they had had their jaws wired up after some gangster affray. Carey must have played a few nice guys along the way, but it's only the crazed enforcers that stick in the mind. He was also memorable as the sharpshooter in The Killing. Wrote and directed from time to time, and was an acting teacher. Occasionally billed as Tim Carey, or Timothy Agoglia Carey. Died after a stroke.
