Felix Bressart was a sad-eyed, wild-haired refugee from German films who came to Hollywood in 1939. Thanks his some fellow German-born regugees in the Hollywood, he was able find work in small character roles. He was eventually signed to MGM, where he played small roles in choice films such as Edison The Man, To Be or Not to Be, The Shop Around the Corner, and Portrait of Jennie. His final film was Take One False Step, before dying of leukemia in 1949.
