MINI BIO:
A roly-poly comedian, singer, actor and entertainer with an easy-going personality, Stubby Kaye began his entertainment career in vaudeville after winning a talent contest at the age of 21. In 1950 he created the role of Nicely Nicely Johnson in the original Broadway production of Guys and Dolls, a role he would later repeat for his on-screen musical debut in 1955. His hit song from that show, "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat," remains his best-remembered number.
