MINI BIO:

You could never tell what swarthy American actor, J. Carrol Naish, would turn up as next. He played Italians, Indians, Orientals, Spaniards, Greeks, Mexicans and dozens of others -- besides ape-men, hunchbacks and various fiends and comic characters of vague foreign back grounds. Almost always hidden beneath make-up, people would have been hard-pressed to recognize Naish as himself. He was virtually lost to films after starting to play Charlie Chan on TV in 1958.
